Just wondering if anyone has done election day markets before, markets held at the schools of the polling booths. If you have were they successful or waste of your time?

Re: Election Day Markets
Not done one but most of the time markets are not worth the time or money.
You need to check your council regs if you need a permit or anything. Then you have all the cost associated with it. Most of the time people only want to buy stuff on the day so you need to have stock on hand etc..
After trawling through the hundreds of applications and feedback forms most Reps don't do markets anymore. lol
You are welcome to give it a try just don't go in with high expectations.
My average sales at markets is around the $120 mark. A few times I have gone higher (highest was $600) but they are few and far between. $120 means I run at a loss.
I only do markets for friends now and don't go in expecting anything.
